Club History : Frilford Heath was founded in 1908 and is one of a select group of complexes to boast 54 holes of championship golf providing an excellent mix of tradtional and modern design. The original layout was created by Mr J H Taylor, a member of the first trimvirate of golf which has been added to and improved over the years. All are heathland courses with sandy subsoil and heather running throughout, with the Blue course being the newest and the work of architect Simon Gidman which incorporates an old water meadow with a number of water hazards
